View Full Version : Diablo3 , u look like zerg and...........

I saw Starcraft2 Zerg trailer, in the end there is Ultralisk poping up in planet Char, where there is massive volcano activity going on. The ultralisk looks very similar to Diablo in Diablo3 trailer. Diablo also looks very similar to Final Fantasy 10 , Yuna's Aeon called Hellbringer or something.
But Diablo in diablo2 trailer, looked pretty awsome. With its thorns on his tails and back, and with scary face.

The Diablo in D1/D2 looks a bit childish IMO.

D3 Diablo looks far better.

Diablo = Red + Horns + Tail + Fire, it's rather a jaded concept of a demon.

Diablo did kinda have that fire engine red going on... His transformation still looked awesome though.

Still he looks no different than a pokemon to me. And he looks awfully happy as the "lord of terror" even though he always smile.

The new diablo looks mad and thirsty for revenge, and also the fire demon from Lord of the Rings: Fellow ship of the Rings (the demon that gandolf fought and yelled "YOU SHALL NOT PASS"

Diablo in the cinematics for D2 looked like complete crap imo and the ingame version made me think more of a dog rather than a overlord of hell. I liked the d1 version of Diablo far better. I need to see him more in d3 before I can judge

You could skip the tail. I'd like to see a demon, not some overgrown lizard.

When I first saw the Balrog in LOTR 1, I immediately thought of Diablo. And then, when I watched the D3 Cinematic trailer I immediately thought of the Balrog. Coincidence? I think not.

I think he looks too much like the Balrog, he's changed too much from his earlier form. I always though his skin would be more like raw flesh. He always had teeth, I think a description in a book was needle like or something. He just doesn't feel like Diablo to me, just a variation of the Balrog.

He felt more like a dog because of the way he run. That was more of a immersion breaker for me. When he stand up and hit you or casted spells he was cool, though.
