Infinity Merc bug

I got my merc an infinity a bit ago and it works fine most of the time. However, whenever i res him i have to take it off and reequip it for conviction to work. Anybody else have this happen? Is there anyway to fix it or is that just how it is.

Hi! A well known bug :(
To fix it re-equip / re-join...

That's just how it is; you'll have to deal with it. The same thing happens with Insight and the Meditation aura.

Eventually though, you'll get used to it... I recently had a merc that used Reaper's Toll, and after resurrecting him I always found myself re-equiping his polearm (pointlessly :p).
