can someone tell me how ladder only runewords like grief and fortitude make it to nl games?

It's very simple:

Every so often, the ladder resets, and all the characters and items in that ladder season are moved to non-ladder, making the ladder runewords available in non-ladder.

So they can't be made in NL, but are transferred at the end of ladder seasons from L

I said I hate them. I didn't say why. Now, I'm about to. You work you *** off for a char. And you get all the good items for it. Then you level it a bit more and twinkle everything a bit, and it makes you proud. Now you can earn some runes and other items.

Then comes the ladder reset. Like entering a foreign country without a passport. If you choose to play NL, you have no idea of an economy, and you wont be able to get the ladder only items you got used to. If you start over, all your effort will be nullified, forcing you to do all the stuff you did before. Some people enjoy it. I don't.
