Multiclient flag

I recently learned about the multiclient flag, so I added -multiclient to my shortcut, and started a game. It worked well enough, but when I joined the game with my second character I received a temp ban on my IP. :(

Does this always happen, or was this a coincidence? I've received temp bans in the past for exiting and entering games too fast while muling.

Diablo does not allow you to have more than one instance running at a time. There must be a hack of some kind installed in your diablo directory. Using it frequently could result in a permanent ban and/or deleted accounts.
