Hi,
All of you that went to Blizzcon: Did you get a chance to check the system specs of the machines running D3?
Thanks,
Something id like to know to.. :)
Well I heard they were alienware computers. If you google alienware and see some of their products they are pretty much top of the line systems.
So knowing the specs doesn't really matter, they are so good that almost every game with max settings will run on them.

Certainly what was in Blizzcon was way on top of the line. Much higher than the recommended setting would need. After all they would want to have the players and the gamming media reporters to play it as smooth as possible so...
But from the looks it doesnt look like it will demand too much of people's PCs. Blizzard never made games that demanded too much and from the graphics, D3 certainly wont be the first.
whats the best for gaming? The power of the "PC" or the "play anywhere" of the lap top.
Personally, I don't enjoy playing with laptop.
With laptop I mean something that you carry easily in a bag, not drag :)

my opinion is PC by far but that could be just me. another reason i say PC is i can build them i cant build a laptop
as for the blizzcon specs i dont think what the specs were mean anything at all in terms of what we will need or should have to run. the game is in a early build and of course they are going to use top comps to run it. not to mention that 2 years(my guess for release) is a long time in terms of computers

2 years is a long time in computer years...there'll be something insane by then for us to get. I've always wanted an alienware, but i could always build my own and have a stronger machine for a cheaper price. Ill wait another year or so before I build a comp...no need to make one now when 5 minutes after i get all top of the line stuff, something better will be out

if we build our own machines we can end up with a computer that has double the power and half the price. (at least it works that way around here :P )
my comp for example, i built it really cheap and the only game i cant play maxed settings at 1680x1050 is Crysis
and if you dont know how to build a computer you can always ask a friend that knows how to.
