Unnamed wizard skill

This might just be an over sight but it looks like theres one skill missing on the wizard skill list that is shown in the video.

In the blizzcon vid at the 1:40 make the wiz casts basically a targeted explosion. It makes a little orb at the target location then explodes.

I couldnt find a description on the list that fit the spell, does it have a name?


edit: just watched thru the wizard trailer again and the spell im talking about is used a lot in it.

Don't think we know yet. Probably a level 20 conjuration skill, looks like it fits the tree. Might get cut though. The Conjuration tree already has that Meteor Shower thing, the trailer has shown a big meteor thing... Three boom causing spells in one tree? Sounds like overlap/kill.

from what I saw the tornado seen in the trailer is a spell from the Wizard, looking through the skill tree it is called "Energy Tornado." It is not actually a spell listed however, but there is a spell to improve it. The skill trees aren't finished yet :)

It could be but i think arcane orb might be the similar skill that creates a big ball that flies to the target and creates a purple explosion.

The one im taking about appears at the target and detonates in a shower of gold sparks

The public loves the word implosion these days.

Isn't she leveling up? I've read somewhere that when you level up an explosion occurs hurting the monsters nearby.

Could very well be the leveling up indeed. I believe it's shown earlier too, so perhaps make a comparison?

I think its Meteor Storm (http://www.diablowiki.net/Wizard_skills#Meteor_Storm). Arcane orb (http://www.diablowiki.net/Wizard_skills#Arcane_Orb) looks totally different and has been spotted in in some places in the gameplay footage. With a good reason. Have you seen the Implosion spell in Heroes of Might and Magic 5? I can only hope the Wizard gets a spell as god damned awesome looking as that one.

I think what is meant is "Wave of Force (http://www.diablowiki.net/Wizard_skills#Wave_of_Force)" You see that quite a bit in the Wizard Trailer.
