a few comments on it, while I'm waiting for files to upload in the press room.

you can destroy almost everything in the game. benches, tables, urns, bookshelves, etc. most of the small stuff, like barrels and bottles, are treated as they are in d2. hit them with attack, and many times your pets (wd mongrels) will kill them, like minions do trapped souls in act 4 in d2.

larger objects you have to kill with a spell or magical attack. just regular attack won't hit it. pets won't either. such objects are largely novelties. they are worth like 3 experience, if that, and i almost never saw any items fall from them. maybe a tiny stack of gold every now and then.

the destructible trap stuff is more fun. the walls up on stilts or crumbling masonry or other such stuff is pretty deadly, but you have to see it in advance. I knocked over a propped up wall with my WD and got landed on. It took off about 1/3 of my hit points and stunned me for a second; the whole stars circling the head bit. killed a couple of zombies who were near me, too. did not stun my mongrels; might have taken off their hps; I didn't notice for sure.

Sweet.

Do other objects cause collateral damage? i.e. can a zombie you sent flying break a table? Or can broken objects knock monsters around?

Semi-physics related: do characters block each other's paths or collide in any way?

This happend to me as well and it got me thinking. Would you be able to knock a wall down on your "friend" while playing in co-op? You shouldn't be able to becasue it will be griefing.

I pleased to hear about the pets breaking open things for you. I always wanted skellies to open things in d2.
