one looks like it's in charge... could be a npc to the main story about the fall of the leadership line... gives of a douc*e vibe....
the other is probably a gaurd, nothing special
EDIT: or playable character!...... maybe not.... but it'd be cool to see the paladins come back as old ones...

npcs i'd bet. just part of the design. you see npcs interacting in various ways in the game. monsters talking to each other and such. that's probably just an illustration of it on the official site. atmospheric.

yeah, that's what i was guessing... just random that they did that today. I was also thinking that'd have something to do with tomorrows lore exhibit tomorrow.
