 dont think by the title of this that i am not enjoying the game at all because so far i love it!!!!
i recently started playing diablo2 about 2 weeks ago, i have ventured these forums recently in search of guides and answers to questions, and i have had fun in my expieriance, i so far have loved almost every single bit of diablo that i have played it is very addicting and has been a great time waster for me, i have 3 high lvls chars all lvl 85 and + they all share simular gear, i have fortitude armor and enigma that i swap with my merc, i have all sorts of good wepons, most of which i thought where the best for my chars, last wish, and i forget the other runed sword but good, i guess what it boils down to is... when i pvp i seem to just get the crap kicked out of me, its really frustrating i have what i thought to be decent stuff and i figured i would last more than 2 punches... well i dont know i have looked at builds and made chars and really am not that happy with any of them, my zon is decent because i can run away and throw stuff at the chaser, but if anyone i fight hits me once 90% of the time im dead, i dont know what it is or if anyone has any suggestions for me, i try to read some more advanced pvp build guides, but they use terms that i have no idea what they are talking about and usually get lost within the first paragraph.... if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appriciate it
btw most of my gear is aimed at a barb, so if anyone has an easy to follow build for a barb that would be awsome

Well, personally, i hate running zons. Dueling in my mind is about 2 people clashing, not 1 of them desperately running like a coward because they cant take a hit.
You didnt really describe your barb build. With 2 weapons i'm assuming frenzy. Could be Whirlwind too. But anyway, about your gear:
Halaberds is ok, but Arreats just tops it for pvp. % to AR, hit recovery, resists, stats, just great stuff.
Last Wish is an ok weapon and the might helps, but an eBOTD or Grief is going to out-do it. There is no reason for a barb to have a CTA, stick that on a character who has hp problems. 99% of barbs should and will max Battle Orders for themselves, which is way better than what CTA can give.
Basic items for pvp survival are extreme high HP (from BO and life charms), 50% DR to effectively double you life against physical damage, 75% blocking with a shield (most times Stormshield for the 35% damage reduce), and maxed resists in hell (or above since people love -% to your resists for their elements)
There's guides in every character section in the strategy area to help people out. Take a look and see what you can find.
You've been playing for three weeks and you have fort, eni and last wish? :O

its been 2 weeks, and yes, and also last night someone gave me a ton of other stuff, couple of insight's, ebotd, a few more... and i have read the guides before thats where im confused i dont know what the hell they are telling me to do, my build well it sucks, its ww, but im willing to make another char it only takes a day to get a char to 90 right :P so yea now i have a ton of stuff and no knowledge on how to use any of it... and about the zon, no offense but NO CRAP you think its fun to me to run around like a mad man? only in the end result just to get pummled in one punch? no its not. dont be condescending to me about it im trying that is why im here
My game playing advice to you:
If you're new to the game, try playing through without all the high end crap. Then after you have gone through and made it to the end of Hell ...go ahead and go for the uber gear and builds and stuff.
You're getting your butt kicked because you rushed through it all and don't have the experience that you would gain from playing through the game and learning as you go. There are several guides on several subjests in the stickied threads on the various subforums here, have a look at them.
I agree with Gorny. You just don't have the XP playing yet.
As far as a build...I'd recommend a frenzy build. It's easy to make and simple to play. However I'm still having trouble with my barbs in hell, not to mention IM is going to slaughter you. And throw alot of stat points into vitality so you'll have enough life to take a hit.

Looking at your gear choices, I think I see your problem. You have no resistances. Switch out your gear to get you around 75% resists in hell and see the miracle of a differance it makes. Also, looks like you're using a lot of strength stats. Make sure you use the lions share of your stats for vita and get as much of the other stats you need as possible from gear. You haven't mention wether or not you have maxed and are using battle orders. As a barb this is a must have, must use skill.
