like the title states...is it possible to switch your battlenet character to an open battlenet character? I know it wouldn't be reversible, but I really miss being able to use ATMA.

I don't think so. Only conversions possible on bnet are Classic --> LOD.

Not possible. Bnet characters are stored on the Bnet servers, Open characters are stored on your local computer's hard drive. Now way to switch the two.

Impossible. But if you want to play on open battle net, why don't you just use the Hero Editor, so you can make ur own weapons and levels etc. As far as I know, its a single player program, so it shouldn't count as 'hacking'

Editors are considered hacking as you are using a third party program to alter the game. Also, since they are an illegal topic on these forums due to our legit SP community they aren't something that can be discussed.

So is atma and it's allowed
=>
the rules aren't waterproof.

now someone is going to difficult about me saying that, so I'm going to stop now.

Very true, but to a different, and much lesser, degree. Can't create items, add levels or assign skill points within ATMA. It's purely a muling program and takes place of having mule characters, which is something that's already allowed ingame to begin with.

I don't understand why allowing ATMA means that the rules aren't waterproof. It doesn't have to be all black or all white.

You might not know it, but ATMA is a bit tailored to meet the standards of these forums. The admins contacted the author to remove a few features before accepting it here.

You need to go and find out what ATMA does before commenting. It is a muling program. Nothing more. Anything more gets you banned in the SPF. We are *very* strict as to what's allowed.

Using or suggesting the use of cheats and editors here will get you banned from these forums.

Consider it a final warning.
