Level 30 Rabies Druid?

I found a pelt with +4 Rabies on it, and it got me thinking about making a lvl 30 rabies druid.

Would it work?

I worked out damage to be just over the 5k mark with a +2 shape amy, Viper, 2 Sojs when using a 6 shael war axe.

Does the weapon switch trick still work? I.e have a spirit sword and sigon on switch to boost the damage once ive hit?

Anyone have any experience with them?

my only experience with poison builds at 30 is a poison zon. she works well enough b/c she can be a ranger. poison suffers a lot at this level. you'll be able to kill pubs with it, but no dedicated melee lld build (let alone a caster) should die to rabies, especially since you have to actually hit them.

weapon switch trick should work fine, too bad you cant have -res items at 30, that might actually make it tryable.

Rabies doesn't work LLD too well. MLD it's much better.

Switch trick doesn't work with +skills. It only works on +damage and -res.

Actually, i've made one:

Rabies helm
Shael'd naga axe
spirit shroud armor
Swordback hold shield
+2 Shape shifting / 75life ammy
2x SOJ
rare Fhr/str/life belt
cow kings boots
Bloodfists
6 shael'd halberd
switch= spirit sword/Sigon's shield for buff
full inv of 15 lifers with maybe some max frw life scs

Just max rabies, poison creeper, 1 into oak, werewolf, rest in lycan

This build is FUN, surprises anyone not wearing death's set.
I beat most necs, zons, druids, sins with this guy. Also good vs smiter/zealers.

Though this is not a top tier dueler, its very underestimated because most people don't take the time to make a good one. Try it out, its fairly cheap and VERY rewarding.

How long did it typically take you to Rabies someone to death?

And IF I made a build like this I think I'd rather make a Robo Naga and put 1 point into Fury just in case or to speed up the process against Barbs and Paladins.
