Yes, there are a couple of ways to do it. Look for a 'Muling' guide or thread on this forum.
You need to create a 'mule'. That is a character you aren't going to level or play, a character purely created to carry gear for your main toon.
Best way to transfer items is to play with a trusted partner. You create a game, move your gear to your friends character, exit and bring in your mule and then transfer the gear from your friend to the mule.
You can do this solo but it can be risky, here's how to do it.
1. Create a passworded game at the same level as your mule with your main character. (usually in normal mode)
2. Stay in that game with your main character for at least 5 minutes, this will perm the game on Bnet. Go kill some monsters while you do this.
2. After 5 minutes drop a worthless piece of equipment onto the ground in town. This is to make sure the game is permed.
3. Exit game and bring in your mule. Hopefully that piece of equipment is still on the ground in town. If it is you can exit, bring in your main character and start transferring your gear by dropping them in town, exiting and changing characters.
A few things to keep in mind though.
1. Dont use an obvious game name and password. You dont want anyone else in this game with you.
2. Wait at least 20 seconds between exiting and changing characters. Changing characters, entering and exiting games too quickly will lead to a temporary ban on your account.
3. Dont wait too long to go back in to pick gear up. Gear left on the ground too long will disapear.
4. Dont try to move too much gear in one go. The game will crash.
Disclaimer....
No muling system is 100% safe. The ideal way is to mule with a friend or use 2 computers and 2 accounts. Solo muling can be risky. Temporary bans are common as are lost connections and lost gear.
Hope this helps, try searching the forum for more info, I'm sure others will have other tips and info.
Thank you, I want to find a trusted friend:)

There is one more somewhat risky way only used specifically for a single quick muling. Games when created stay perm for about 30 seconds. If you only need to transfer a single item, or a few items over to a single character you can use this quick method to save time.
Make the normal game with the person trying to rid themselves of items (passworded of course). Drop the stuff on the ground. Make sure only to stay in the game for 5-10 seconds. Leave and quickly enter with the character who is to receive the items and voila. Dont try this a 2nd time as the game wont be perm for another 5 minutes or so.
I've done this numerous times when i just need to get a single item quickly to another character with zero issues so far.
When I was doing muling, you just get one of ur friends you knoew wont steal and voila. However here is the alternate thing you can do if you really dont have a bnet friend:
-join a stable game which lasts atleast one hour and has about 5-6 players. A perfect example would be ' act one all come'. While they are doing all the bosses, you just go and find either a dungeon or a town you feel its secure and drop your items there and collect it.
My personaly favourite for this was the Atma's public house (:)) in Act2 because there is a lot of space behind it which is mostly unvisited anyway. It's done by most of the bit experienced players in bnet.
