trying to stick mf on a wf + faith merc bowzon...

so i want to make a windforce + faith merc bowzon for clearing areas, especially chaos, using the gear proposed in this guide (except for war travs instead of gores): http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=630564

i'm thinking stealskull (15 ias) would be very nice way to add mf; it has 10 ias, 30-50 mf, and the leech on it means you can easily switch out the leech ring for a nagel.

thing is, you need to switch out razor or atma's to hit the last bp (need ~10 more ias), so what would you do:

1. change razortail for a goldwrap? more mf but losing pierce is bad...

2. change atma's for a cat's eye? i'm leaning towards that, since chaos doesnt have any natural PIs.

of course, i could always keep the damage stuff and stack up massively on the 7 mf charms, 5 rows of em + p gheeds + p travs = 230 mf... not bad. but, would having less ar/max gcs make keeping atma's over cat's eye moot?

so basically you think keeping both razortail and atma's > 1 fpa? i didnt like the idea very much... so please elaborate. chaos = a lot of multi... which makes atma's not as useful compared to some area where'd you strafe more.

also, having only 3/20/7 mf charms would be ideal, but thats not very realistic. to me losing one fpa would mean being able to stick a few ar/max/whatever GCs in there more easily. the rest would pretty much be plain 7 mfs, a few with mods i guess.

so basically its 1-3 ar/max GCs + razortail AND atma (not just one) VS 1 fpa. heh its hard to tell which would be better without testing it... did you?

I have tested it, well not completely. I have ofc done Multishot at 8frames and imo it is ok speed. You are ofc free to ditch Razortail and Atma, but I dont do that. Ist'ing the Wf may be a waste also ofc, it all depends on your budget. That also goes for the Stealskull, ptopaz is alot more budget-friendly.

You dont need 3/20/7s, 2/10/5s are also good. Just the combo max/mf is what you will be looking for, you can always upgrade later.

That KremBanan setup is good.
Pure physical ama is best if you run just chaos, with atma's amu of course as there are always some (1-4) Physical immunes and those took time in full games. Normal monsters get killed easily, hard ones slow you down, thats main reason for atmas. And it helps against end boss.

Another alternative if running other areas too.
I made tele-jumper and runned all tc85 areas in 1-8 players games.
WF+Shako(ias)+Nigma+Arach(to get 99fcr)+... Faith merc.
(20 cold, 20fa, 1strafe, 5multi and rest to passives, with +13 to bow skills)
Both FA and multi gived mana back while shooting, so it was easy to recharge mana if tele took too much.


And big NO to nagels, even 30mf are charsi food.
