View Full Version : Soloing Hell Cows with Lightning Fury

How do I go about doing that? My Javazon has maxed Lightning Fury obviously, and Charged Strike and Lightning Strike I believe, I know it's 2 of the synergies. She doesn't seem to do much damage to the cows though. Would wearing Ormus Robes >For the +% to Lightning damage< and a Griffon's Eye help her do that? Or should I max the other 2 synergies for the meager 40% extra damage.

What say you masters?

You'll start seeing a huge difference when you work on -enemy lightning resistance. Griffons would be a good start. the difference between enemies having 75% lightning rez and 50% is huge - if you have -25% it means you just doubled your damage output.

People also like ormus robes, however I'm a firm fan of enigma for the extra mobility and huge frw. If you really only want more dmaage from armor, I could see using 4x 5/-5 rbf armor of life/fhr being nice :)

I'd advise you to pump up the 2 synergies as well tho.

Lightning Fury doesn't benefit much in synergies, however Charged Strike is very dependent on the synergies. Are you wearing items that increase your LF skill level? Consider wearing Tgods or Razortail for great piercing effect.

razortail is the cow king.

i prefer enigma's mobility as well, that and the fact teleport allows you to control your merc/flash cows with conviction effectively (if he has infinity of course).

There is something wrong, because I can solo hell cows with LF and I don`t have any points in synergies. Damage is about 1.5k and piercing is over 80 without razortail.

Maybe he has problems in 8p games - lots of amazons that I've seen try that have low damage output.
Razortail is a must for a javazon in PvM in my opinion - not only for cows, I use it all the time, with some careful throws you can use it to great effect

That can be, I have only played 1-4 player hell cow games with my java.

what is ur damage at?
did you put a point into pierce?
what kind of javs are you using?

8-player cows should be no problem with a javazon.

I have to assume you are using Titans, then I would suggest spirit (mana reasons, you shouldn't get hit anyway), razortail.... You don't really need more than Titans.

Your problem must be your herding. Let your merc die, then herd the biggest group of cows you can. Throw javs, collect loot, move on. If you have time, kill the stragglers, otherwise having more people in the game is more important. Just practice on your herding, you should grab several groups, the larger the group, the faster they fall.

Also, facet everything!
