i'd say an ethereal botd mat spear is the best fending weapon, obscene damage, pretty good speed, +3 jav/spear and the dual leech allows you to wear dual ravenfrosts and a non-leech helm (like CoA or rockstopper)

well it's not really shocking news that coa is better than rockstopper but when you consider the price/rareness... but with botd go with coa if you can or wouldn't guillaums beat coa for fending?

Rockstopper has about the same resists if you consider it not having poison res.

Of course, crowns are more expensive, but when looking at cheap alternatives, I think darksight helms etc are cooler. That's only me though

that's the funny thing though, CoA isn't better than rockstopper in a mod comparison :)

but who am i to complain, i don't mind selling a person a rockstopper clone for multiple ists

oh wait i forgot CoA has +1 skills, that's such a godly mod

i actually compared those two before saying coa is better but when price isn't an issue i'd say coa beats rockie (the difference won't really make too much difference though) but for most it is. and dispite the looks rockstopper has the style points for sure

edit: obviously comparing helms with perf/close to perf stats
edit2: wow didn't even realize this thread wasn't about rockstopper or coa at all... well nvm
