View Full Version : Pubby Stomping Buggers
I'm getting sick and tired of getting ganged on by Windys and Hammers, particularly the ones who party.
Now my PVM auradin can anihalate Hammers, thats if they don't chicken to Akara, which is so damn annoying.
Its windys that are starting to rattle me.
Now, I've put all my wealth into my Windy and Auradin, but I'm willing to sacrifice a bit more to put into a pubby stomping bugger.
Now is there a build out there for me, or do I have to discover the jack of all pubby stomping trades? ^^ I don't care about manners for this feud, they've gone too far this time!
Note: I'm not too experienced in PVP, and good manners means everything to me. But..I can't take it anymore!

are... you using an auradin to duel? ....a pvm?
Just for fun, when I'm not doing a bit of MFing I test him out in games ;)

I don't like auradins since they NK everyone by default
I think you've mentioned two of the best "pub stompers" in your very first post, windies and hammerdins :)
and nothing stomps them more than BvC. =D
Good Hdins can beat BvC's
Windys typically have a 50/50 Chance in my opinion, depending on their use of SS and max block.
if you really want to rape a windy a trapper/Ghost assassin will do it.
Apparently Hammers can anihalate Ghost assassins :P
I'm thinking about making a 9speed Bowazon :x With lots of open wounds, lots of poison, and lots of KB, them buggers.
What you think? If you can't beat them, join em! Saying that, I would never use such a build for private duelling.

ghost vs hdin is definitely a tough duel for the ghost, but its closer to a 50/50 duel than it is an annihilation.
the best char to kill both hdins and druids is probably a hybrid ww/trap (and i say that even though giving hybrid sins any sort of credit hurts my soul =p). hdins and druids are on totally different ends of the spectrum, so finding one character thats great against both is going to be pretty tough.

I'm quitting pubs. They're way way too BM lately. I don't know if it's because it's NL or what, but it seems like it wasn't ever this bad before.

There's really no pvp character that can pwn all characters. Probably Blizzard has designed the game (by chance or not) that each character has his / her own own weak points against another character. A KB godly bowazon can quickly dispose of an hdin or a windy but a desynch charger / smiter can easily kill a bowazon. Worst is casters due to absorb gears. The caster may be godly in a game but when switching to another game with full of sorbers, the caster is screwed (e.g trapsins, light sorc, javazons, etc). A hybrid mage paladin is one character that can pwn most characters.

Poison can be countered as with any other element. And teeth doesnt really do enough damage to kill someone before they either s/e or go back to town.

pdscs bowazons will get owned by prison and get antidoded; it's not better than venom. u want to break the prsion with one multishot.
