Posted this in the barb forum too, hope I don't get in trouble.
So my sister and I are playing through the game and she is a fishymancer and I'm a Leaper. I told her she should grab a Might merc and I'm not sure additional aura would benefit us. We don't really need Holy Freeze because of the skellies for crowd control. I'm thinking maybe Blessed Aim? Thoughts?
Thanks!

Skellies only really need the Might aura. BA is only really useful against Bosses. Thorns is somewhat handy, but giving a Merc Bramble is a much better option of getting it.
I have no idea what is best for a Leaper. But I'd go with what would work for that build. The Skellies really do not need one of the other auras.

Thanks for the input. I know we will be fine with whatever since she can solo on her own (if she plays conservatively which she doesn't :)) and the BA will just make sure I hit everything, but I don't really need it either as I get a huge boost to AR with leap attack. Hence the reason I am looking to see if anyone has any opinions on the matter.
If shes got a might merc already i would grab a defensive one for yourself. Should help a lot since barbs usually have high def anyway.

Didn't I read somewhere that the aura from Insight runeword will enhance the Act2 Prayer Merc, acting as a massive synergy to it?
Think about how nice it is when you are in a hard fight, and drink from a well a couple times mid fight, healing up your whole pack. Now... imagine having almost the same lvl of regen going fulltime. Of course it takes a while to find a nice ethereal 4socket polearm with requirements that are on the lower side of insane, but the runes are cheap enough that you could make a starter weapon, and upgrade it later on towards endgame.
I myself just had to lvl up my sorc and her merc over 85+, just to get his str up over 210 so I could equip his upgraded Insight. Be very careful with researching the reqs before using the runes..... for example, there is a massive str difference between using a Cryptic Axe and a Colossus Voulge, but both have similiar dmg ranges.
Equipped auras do get synergies (see: auradin)
However, the Prayer synergy only negates the mana cost of Prayer, it doesn't add healing power.
