Minions and aura stacking...

I was looking through some of the threads but really wasn't able to find what I was looking for. I had a quick question concerning aura stacking and my minions. I want to make a summoner and realize that a huge boost it due to auras.

Now if i get an act 2 might merc, equip it with Pride (concentration aura), as well as equip myself with beast, how does this all stack? Is this what people do or does any aura cancel out another or reduce the effectiveness?

The auras don't cancel each other out. They all stack. Most summoner use a Might merc with Infinity, and carry Beast on their necro. Many also like to create an aura golem...Insight for the mana or Pride if they aren't scared to lose an expensive item. It's best to max out golem mastery if you are going to make expensive iron golems.
