View Full Version : Knockback and charged strike?
I'm playing with my untwinked javazon, and I found a pair of cleglaws gloves, and I just noticed something. Knockback works quite well with cs. Enemies often die by me pushing them into the bolts. Although I don't have lots of experience of the bad sides of knockback since my attack speed is about 14 frames or something. Why don't people recommend kb for javas?
Also, if i use 20% ias gloves and high lords, I will need 15% more ias to reach the next breakpoint. Is it worth it to úse an ias jewel meaning sacrificing a light facet to reach the bp?

Because when in higher levels, Charged Strike will kill so fast that KB isnt needed.

Reaching IAS bps is quite low on my list when making a PvM Java. One reason is the amulet, I never use a Highlords on pure Javas, this is for one reason only, and thats the +1skill. I focus more on +skills, than I do on IAS.
But with that said, PvM Javas are very powerfull, so it doesnt 'really' matter if you loose a facet and get a IAS jewel. You will kill very fast nomatter what..
facets are quite important. They are often the only source - in combination with griffons eyes - of +lightning damage and - resistance. That much more important then skills.
What shield are you using? With a facet shield and groffons eye, it might be interesting. With faceted ss, I wouldn't do it.
Same goes for armour.
P.S. this is purely damagewise. As KremBanan said, even without that facet, you might kill more then fact enough.

If you want to use facets, go all the way - a 4 socketed shield with them. If you just socket one, you'll hate it later on :).
Trust me ;)
Ok thanks. I also like offense, but I've heard people concern about breakpoints
