Summoner vs Uber Diablo?

I recently had diablo walk the earth in a game I was in... I ended up having to call in a smiter pally to kill him

He pretty much demolished the skeletons with 40 pts into rs/sm
I was using decrep on him, and clay golem but he was still killing them.

Just curious if a summoner can solo uber diablo or if I should get another char high level incase I see another one.

Sure he can (Uber Diablo) even solo:
Pandemonium Diablo, Uber Baal, Uber Duriel, Uber Izual, Lilith & Uber Mephisto

It can be done. The most useful thing in my opinion is Enigma. The minion stack just helps with survivability so much (whether next delay limitations on damage, or whatever). As you would expect, revives with CB, clay golem/decrep/cold mages, and poison to remove HP regen.

I do this with my Summoner (Act II Mercenary + Infinity)

Always revive Blunderbore, Gorebelly, Mauler or Urdar
Cast Amplify Damage, Teleport to Uber Diablo (Enigma) & I walk away

Can vouch for this simple strat, follow those steps and any summoner with half decent gear (enigma being the only expensive item needed) will kill anything in the game..

The best places to find those revives is the Durance, River of Flame or the Palace. I always teleport throught those locations checking for CB monstes before I open any portals.

I don't have enigma, so that probably explains it.

I remember on my single player game the skeles and ect doing much more on bosses when compact like that.

Do you have any teleport charges amulet?
If not try this I used to use this method but will take few tries
Walk fast toward to Uber Diablo (Very next to it), quickly cast town portal and then
From town click town portal back to Uber Diablo
Your minions will be stacked for a short period of time
Keep repeat this process until you are not main target and your minions are organized/stacked
Also very effective with LLD Summoner

Actually I did get an amulet with like 13 charges, I put it on a mule but might bring it back for these types of special occasions

Without enigma I did all three of the keyset ubers with little problem, but even with CB revives uber diablo that spawns when people sell the SoJs whooped my *** hard.
It probably didn't help I was omw to kill the countess and diablo spawned over her so the fight area was pretty cramped. I still wanted to check though cause nothing has ever killed my army of skeletons like he did, esp when I have decrep, CG slow, and decent revives.

I killed Uber Diablo with my MF Fishy. Spawned him where Eldritch is, so there was plenty of room. Was able to stand next to the WP and cast Decrep on him. Took 3 tries of him destroying all my Skellies. Finally revived some Urdars from the River of Flame, them and my merc took him down.

I didn't have teleport, nor optimal gear, so it took about 20 minutes. But it can be done.
