Quick question about necro shrunken heads

Does a runeword like splendor(2socket +1 skills with caster stats/mf) work on shrunken heads? I don't know if that classifies as a shield or not.

Yes it does. Although it still has to follow the rules of other runewords, like not being magic etc

but it still works if it has staffmods ofc

I'd Love to find a 3 RS 3 SM head one day and make Rhyme (shael eth) in it so (hopefully) I don't lose skellys when switching to Gull/Rhyme after summoning.

You just need to get a +3 rs helm. Sm only pplies when summoning, and doesn't help in allowing you to keep more skellies. I actually have a +3rs head myself
