Hey everyone,
I currently have a hammerdin in its mid 80's working its way to the 90's and up, but with about 100 stat points unused and still about 8 skill points remaining. The problem is that I've been making a hammerdin but want to be able to uber trist (in decent form, as long as i can get torches, everythings gravy) as well as use smite for other bosses as well (dia, meph, baal).
Heres my current setup:
Shako
Seraphs
Hoto/spirit switch to
CTA/hoZ
enigma
arachnids
trang gloves
soj/raven
and gore rider
I just recently made a decent Grief and was going to use it in replacement of my Hoto for smiting, but the thing is that my PB Grief requires 136 Dex, which i dont have.
So far i have put nothing into str or dex, most if not all of my points have gone into vit, which is at 350. I can wear all my gear fine w/ anni and torch, so im wondering what i should do with my dex.
My skill points are distributed as follows (i messed up by putting 1 pt in sacrifice... i dont know what i was thinking, dont ask)
max blessed hammer
1 holy shield
max blessed aim
max concentration
1 fanaticism (20 with gear)
max vigor
none on redemption or salvation
with all my equipment: hammer does about 11-12k dam
str: 150
dex: 75
vit: 400
block remains about 40% w/ holy shield (lvl 18 w/ gear)
so here are my questions:
1) where should i spend my points from now on? max holy shield? put into redemption or salvation (1pt each, but i highly doubt i might use em, do i still need them?)
2) should i invest the points into dex? or can i obtain that by changing my items around? I feel as if shako, seraphs, gloves, raven frost, and gorerider could use upgrade.. my raven provides 20 dex. remember im trying to wear grief. *thats 61 points down the drain*
BUT im guessing that will up my block rate to 75 right?
