Help, I have 1033 Life...

...And 228 Dexterity. :/ :crazyeyes: I am a soon-to-be Uber Smiter with a Spirit Sacred Targe; it has 60% block and I thought I'd need much less dex to max my block %. I just clicked on it in a daze until I hit 75%... I'm lvl 85 now and it was such a pain to level - do you think I should remake? Will I die to the Ubers with such low life? I have no way to afford CtA just yet... My gear is as follows:

-Smoke armor for Meph(to be made soon enough)
-Treachery otherwise for the 45% ias
-The Redeemer +108 dmg (shael'd)
-Gores
-Guillaume's
-Dracs
-Raven
-Rare ring 11 all res except 30 fres, 10 dex
-Tgods belt
-Magic amu +3 Pcomb 24 pdr (can't afford Mara's...)

Help would be appreciated. Tbh if I have to remake I think I'll stick to running Dkeys with my IK Barb to make wealth; the only reason I'm making my Smiter is because I have keys running out of my ears... :coffee:

Edit: Fwiw, I haven't done the stats/life potion quests yet. It should add 75 Life,
so then I'll have 1108.

I think you forgot to cast Holy Shield when putting in dex.

A level ~5 HS would save you ~60 stat points.

why didnt u just stick a point into holy shield and let your plus skills do the rest for that skill cuz with holy shield u can achieve max block at a much lower dex....and it lasts for quite a while

as for the gear i used a guardian angel after i got the fade buff from treachery for the +15 max resists or duress is a cheap option for a good smiter armor after u get the fade buff
and i found that having a wisp ring helped a lot because of the lightning absorb for meph, assuming u will still get max resist after fade buff kicks in and u dun need to wear the resist ring to achieve max resist

well if you get a bucket load of sc with 19-20 life you should be able to do them, another option is getting a Barb friend to come in a BO you, there are some pretty standup guys in this forum and some would perhaps take the time and come BO you, if you are on EU Ladder i could do it atleast if you say when and where (if im home that is)

and about the HF drops, i have 4 chars who have done HF in Hell, i have gotten 3 Hel runes and a Ko, NM have given me 2 Um tho, but its still insane with 3 out of 4 being Hel rune.

Remake and level your charc without touching dex. When you maxed Holy shield ( all smiters max HS? ) then start placing points in dex. Try maybe a HoZ/zaka instead of spirit or a sanctuary in a ST for even better blocking :)
