Phoenix and Vengance

How does weapon and off weapon enhanced damage effect vengeance? How does it stack? Would equipping a phoenix shield or a high enhanced damage weapon increase the base damage that vengeance uses to calculate it's elemental damage? What about the added damage from grief- how does that affect vengeance?

Weapon ED% is factored in.
Off weapoen ED% is not (e.g. Fortitude or Phoenix), so it would only boost physical damage.
Added damage from Grief doesn't get factored in.
