Ultimate pk sorc, need your input!!!!

Hey guys,

I think I found the build I want to go with.

Need your input on my PK sorc build. Basically this sorc is going to be a TANK. I want her to have MAX block, MAX resist, And can tank baal runs alone, as well as poweracting and good PK.

I went ahead with CL Lightning sorc, and the rest of my points on frozen ORB.

I only have 1 in energy sheild.

Heres my going to be my gear

Arachnid Mesh Belt
Ammy +2 Sorc skills and mana based char lvl AMULET
Chains Of Honor Armor
Sandstorm Trek Boots or marrorwalk Boots
Sorc Torch/Annihilus Small Charm, and a few other charms
Occy
Shako
Stormsheild monarch (I am looking to get MAX block, with decent DMG reduction, please advise if you know of better)

Also, whats the amount of dex needed at 99 for 75% block?

I want to make sure I keep most of my stats to VIT, should I keep energy at 20? What should I put my stat points on mostly?

I hate to be close-minded, but generally the best sorc tanks are pure-es, max block sorcs. If you do that, make sure you have massive pres and plr.

To make an ultimate pk sorc, the best way would probably be through mass amounts of prebuff on either a fireball sorc or blizzard sorc.

Well, just a few points.

CL is not the way to go, it's not really a PvP viable skill. Dual skill tree sorceress will lack damage for PvP.

Real tanks are usually ES builds with max block but unless you have insane gear you would end up with very low life with such a build.

There's no point to use ES if you are a max vita build or a vita/block build. With low mana you will lose ES and all your mana instantly and it could get you killed.

Mana on your amulet will not get boosted by battle orders so straight +mana would be better.

Occy is not really a PvP weapon, even eschuta would be better.

In general, the majority of PvM builds don't do very well in PvP, especially those pure PvM builds like Meteorb sorc or a CL/FO hybrid. They lack damage.

Check out some of the stickied guides, they should give you an idea what to look for.
