Everywhere I've read about the blocking formula it mentions that it is only 1/3 effective while the player is running. I'm not sure if they are just generalizing the fact that people almost never walk in this game, or if it is explicitly related to just running.
So my question is: Does the 1/3 block penalty trigger based on *any* movement, or just running explicitly?
I started thinking about this when I noticed one of my necromancers wearing the full trang-ouls set moves at full run speed even when walking (as in, no stamina drain, switching to alt weapon and breaking the morph drops me back to walk speed). If the penalty is not present when walking, it would make this build significantly stronger by always having full block rate regardless of movement.
I'll probably try to test it out eventually, it just seems like.. not the easiest thing to quantify, so I figured I'd see if anyone else had some insight first.
