View Full Version : Leaper end game weapon?

So I'm making a leaper (max leap, leap attack, battle orders) and I think I like the idea of using a polearm for the big damage and extended range (if you miss with leap attack as long as a mob is close I can reach out and smack em) and I wanted to know what you guys felt was the best weapon to use that costs less than a pul rune. Personally, I'm thinking an Obedience in a Cryptic Axe, but I'm not sure it's worth the 103 dex requirement.
Any thoughts or opinions on the matter? Thanks!

ethereal cranium basher, no dex requirements and the mods/damage of the weapon just scream "crush you in one hit"
Cranium Basher cannot be ethereal.
Obedience is the highest damage polearm you can get for that cost. Don't forget Obedience has a Hel in it, so you can spend about 50 points less in str/dex than you assumed (I think). It has a fixed, high %ED and some nice additional offensive and defensive mods as well. The only thing it doesn't have is IAS, but you're a leaper.

Thanks stephan! I forgot about the hel reducing reqs by 20%. That puts the dex req for a cryptic at a much more manageable 83.
