Are socketed items with life still worth anything ?
for example a 2 socketed circlet with 75 life I found ?

Only if it has +2 skill on it too. The two sockets can be acquired by Larzuk (1/2 of the time).

Though I do seem to remember an Artisan's Tiara of the Whale socketed with ED/IAS Jools going for alot of money. You might have meant that.

Small addition here, is that Magical Circlets can also spawn with +3 Single Tree Skill +100 life.
