1) When you have both Damage Reduced by X and Damage Reduced by X%, what gets applied first?

2) I know Damage Reduced by X% mods are capped at 50% for characters, but what about Hirelings?

3) Can you exceed the 50% Damage Reduction cap with Fade?

4) Can a combination of 50% Damage Reduction and static Damage Reduction reduce an attack's damage below 50% of it's normal damage?

5) In what order are Magic Damage Reduced by X, Magic Absorb, and Resistance applied?

1) DR by X gets applied before DR%. For this reason, it's pretty pointless to try to stack them. Reducing 100 incoming damage by 75 and then reducing it by 75% is not worth the effort (the latter part).

2) dunno :(

3) Doubt it, but can't say 100%

4) Definitely, you can actually completely reduce incoming damage to near zero. Integer damage reduce is much more effective for PvM, DR% for PvP. This is the basis of SSoG's Abbott build.

5) shrug

2) Hirelings have the same caps as normal characters.

3) Yes and no. No, you can't have more than 50% effectively, but you can stack %DR like you do with resistances (against amp or decrep). Although, this doesn't have anything to do Fade in particular.

4) Yes.

5) see 1.
