So, I am finally able to play d2 again, due to internet connection be fixed after about 7 visits from time warner. Anyways, I am wanting to make an oddball MFer (IE: just running around killing stuff with whatever MF I can fit)

Right now I am looking at either:

A. Hunter Druid - Except Using Lacerator/Shield for the amp.
Possible a bow on switch after amp goes off?

Maxed Bear/Dire/HoW rest in Armageddon stuff (I really like that spell lol :D)
Might Merc

Was also contemplating Berserk, although much more common than aforementioned builds.

B. Vengeance Paladin - Big 2 handed weapon.
Looking at something like Godfather, or Tomb reaver.

C. Sacrafice Paladin
Big 2 hander, enough said.

Any thoughts on the characters? Also, if anyone has any other build suggestions let me know.

xbananax had a meeting about hunter druids today.
The results: Sounds ***, like a wow character. Worthless. The suck. Weaker than a hammerdin.

Vengeance with Tomb Reaver sounds neato! TR is probably my favorite two handed weapon in the game. :dizzy::dizzy::dizzy::dizzy::dizzy::dizzy::dizzy:

I'd prefer grandfather, even if it's less effective. :)

I think I should make a hunter just to piss off banana. :)

It won't piss us off. If you want to make a character for the purpose of MFing that can't kill mobs or bosses quickly, that's up to you.

IMO, make your 'fun build' after your MFer. Trying to do them as the same character will only lead to frustration.

lol, I know it won't piss you off. :) It was poking fun. Obviously you do not know how diablo works, the longer it takes to kill a mob, the better it drops.

Throughout my D2 carrier, I've noticed this to be the exact opposite! Many times I've come across a difficult mob (to the point where I've considered just giving up killing them). At the end of the battle, when I've picked up my blue belt, or blue splint mail, and maybe a full juv (having fed my merc 3 or 4 during the battle) I think "jeez, there should be some kind of reward for a battle like that..."

yes, I know you were joking, but my experience still stands... the D2 gods have a sick sense of humour.
