ok "i" got a cracked sacred Targe with 45 all ress, if i put it in cube

el rune + a chiped gem (not sure aboute this) it will be a normal Sacred targe right? and the 45 ress, does it stay the same or does the stats change

The res will be rerolled if you upgrade it with the recipe. Also, it's item lvl will be set to 1, which means that Larzuk won't give it 4 sockets anymore... I'd guess. Could be wrong since Pala shields are pretty special. But you will lose the 45 res for sure, so it's a moot point really. Just make Spirit in a cracked shield if you really need it. No one will buy it but you can still use it yourself. :thumbup:

iirc a runeword in a low quality item will restore it to a normal item. I can't say for sure if the automod gets rerolled though

Spirit in cracked will be the same as in not-cracked - i.e. name will be "Spirit Sacred Targe". Apart some minor durability difference I think they will be the same (check what is different on your shield's stats compared to 'normal' shield - durability (probably), defense, smite damage). I don't really think the difference matters if you are not some perfection freak :)
