Have a quick question where a quick search showed me too many pages to scroll through:whistling:: When you upgrade a normal unique, say a bonesnap or Steeldriver to exceptional, does the lvl req go to 25 / 29? a summary below.

Base lvl req:
Bonesnap - 24
Steeldriver - 29

Base lvl req:
War club - 25
Martel de fer - 25

Base lvl req:
Upped snap - 25? or higher? and how to calculate if higher?
Upped driver - 29? or higher? same Q as snap

Thanks in advance!

The level req will be whichever is higher between the level req of the exceptional base item and the level req of the normal unique and then add 5 (add 7 for exceptional > elite).

For Bonesnap:

The level req of Bonesnap is 24, the level req of a War Club is 25, so the level req of an upgraded Bonesnap would be 25+5 = 30

For Steeldriver:

The level req of Steel Driver is 29, the level req of a Martel de Fer is 25, so the level req of an upgraded Steel Driver would be 29+5 = 34.

Note that socketing can increase the level req of items and this needs to be taken into account. A Shaelled (rlvl 29) Bonesnap would have a level req of 29+5 = 34 when upgraded for example. It does not matter if you socket before or after upgrading.
