Anyone know any good links to a singer guide for solo chaos runs?

wouldn't this be a problem because singers are incredibly dependent on a merc with "insight" runeword and all it takes is one iron maiden to make you lose that ?

singers can get about 20 paces from the way point in 2 minutes, or alternatively you can get an enigma and asymptotically approach 5 paces from where you stop teleporting.

hammerdin, infinity carrying light sorc, and an ugly geared zon are the only things that will come close to this speed afaik. everything else gets hosed by IM.

mmm not true, ive seen singers do solo chaos in rediculous speeds. much faster than my hdin ever could.

Just wondered if anyone had a good guide for one.

I'd love to be wrong on this one. I'll redirect my hubris in the other direction.

with all synergies maxed and 20 skills you'd have around 1575 damage on your war cry. at 25 you're a little over 1800. whether this is attainable is probably a function of time and money. if you did that 4 times a second i guess it might be fast i guess. you dont break 2k until level 49.

I am going to assume substantial wealth. you need enigma and dual hoto makes everything else reasonable. dual spirit would mean you'd be sucking wind on resi, but I think you could do it. it'd be really hard to do shako and spirits. you'd lose inventory and MF if you couldn't find nice rares.

looks like 105 FCR is the one to hit, 200 is buggy?

fcr ring, craft/rare.

frosties (magefists/silkweaves?)

+3 wc amulet, get gambling if you want resi too :)
rare boots with resi/MF
resi charms

the rest id do rares looking for MF, FHR.

you'd have to experiement with stats i think. on intuition id say 50, maybe 100 energy, dump vit.

I'd give my merc a cracked voulge with insight, glads, jewelers of amicae. all socketed with sols. resi might do him better, i dont know. reapers toll might work as well, just more potions being nursed.

im sure lots of people would be less skittish about resi, esp if BO go up high enough. :P

Best way to reach 105 bp is dual hotos + arachs + echoing amulet of the apprentice.

Then focus the rest of your gear on mana and +skills. You can put insight in a normal voulge to give him protection against im. Most enemies will be stunned anyway.
