My sorc just got to Act2 in NM and Cain was telling me about my fantastic cube. Which made me wonder, if it give it to a mule, will it be there again?

Yes you can give it to your mule. You can get a new one by teleing to the Halls of the Dead chest(where you got it the first time).

That will only work if somebody in the game hasn't finished Khalim's Will yet while having no cube. If your mule hasn't picked up the cube, it will drop for him in Travincal, even (I'm just 90% sure about that) if he's still in act 1.
