Would my Warcry Barb help on the ubers?

I'm especially wondering about the lesser used skills. He is best suited for Hell cows, but I'm growing bored of that.

My understanding of the ubers is that there's infinite waves of minions... that said, would anything (other than the stun) help?

L35 Howl - Enemies run up to 130 yards for 37 seconds
L39 Taunt - Target's Damage and Attack -81% (individual)
L39 Battlecry - Enemy Defense -126%, Damage -63% (spread) 105 second duration
L39 Warcry - 1569-1613 dmg, 9.2 second stun

And of course wicked Battle Orders, Command, and Shout...


Basically would uber runners find me useful even though I can't do much damage? I'm running out of things to do in this game.

are you getting some compensation for helping them do these runs ? i assume they are the ones getting the torch drop

as for you yes you would be very useful because your high level howl will keep all minions away and i believe battlecry works on the ubers, if it doesn't work suffice to say that no minions will be getting near the uber killer whether those minions are melee or ranged

life tap will overwrite your battle cry, and i haven't seen too many ubers builds that dont abuse draculs. good tool, but wrong tool. necro w/ dim vision is really solid support on ubers, but it just adds more HP's to burn through.

cryer is going to be the most fun accompanying another slow play build. hydra sorc, avenger, both summoners come to mind. those classes typically doing full clears too, which is where you will shine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that Battlecry combined with an Infinity Polearm would drop even an Uber's defense to 0, making it easy for everything to hit.

So I say do that and team up with a Summon Necro.

Do you mean for ubers, or just generally? What's left to do in this game after baal running to level 95?

i mean that i dont think a cryer is the right tool for ubers. there's no reason to use a cryer over any other characterk. but it could work and be fun making it work though.

With infinity summons can hit the ubers pretty reasonably aiui. necros problem is that the summons individually can't take that much punishment. if you can keep the ubers from focus firing them, they generally live though. my necro wasn't that strong, and i still had some living while i was running interference for my friend's kicker. there is also crushing blow. thats why people use urdars, for the CB. so if the uber kills your merc you can still CB them down.

imo, diablo2's strength is diversity. you dont play one character, you play dozens. I already have done 6 characters past level 80 this season. They all do things differently, each game style is different. I don't think i actually enjoy diablo2's "game", I like the problem solving of building a character skill set, gear, etc. games with lasting appeal have a problem above and beyond their game play to solve. titan quest had a better game, but the skills weren't interesting and the gear certainly wasn't.

Did that a ton in highschool. Decided I was going to focus on the one char this time so I wouldn't be wasting too much times.

the only issue with the singer in ubers is mana, if you have insight runnin u should be golden, use a high rez combo(2xwizzys/hoto's)and spam wc in an area of spawn, should keep everrything stun locked and open for free hits

to keep the game interesting i do a bunch of mind bending drugs and play complicated duel chars
