Best Place to Find Zerker Axes?

Im just trying to figure out the best place for one to drop..it seems an eth one for trade is just insane :P any suggestions?

Pits and Hell cows come to mind, not sure if there are better areas.

I've found one in WSK and one in ancients way that I remember.

I'm fairly certain he means the highest one-handed damage weapon in the game base axe, DAS BERSERKER AXE (we lack a viking smiley, lol) . And yeah, pits and worldstone keep in hell would be your best bet, though I'm sure the cutoff for them dropping is a bit earlier (quality level 85).

Any level 85 area would be the best place.

Ah, you're right. However damage-per-second wise it's among the best. A scourge has higher max, but a min of 3. Legendary mallet has much better min damage and a better average per-hit damage, but is significantly slower. Hydra edge comes close in both max and min damage, but is a bit slower.

hell pit (act 1) with 0 magic find and a physical damage character using laying of hands gloves (+350% damage to demons) in 8 player games ideally

find a white zerker there and use the ral + amn + pamethyst cube recipe on it

So can hell cows drop zerker axes?
My sorc has a hard time in act 5 with all the cold/fire immunes. Hell pits in act 1 eh? She has tons of MF though =/ ive found colossus swords, threshers, col vougles and monarchs in cows but not any zerker axes yet, can they drop there?

Yes, but at a very reduced chance compared to level 85 areas.

and when you guys say the pits, do you mean all the monsters in the pits, or just that nice chest in the 2nd lvl? or both?
I ran it maybe 10 times last night, i found a dwarf star....and thats about it, saw a white col voulge and a hellforge plate, but thats about it...is that normal?

Hell cows are lvl 81.

When we say The Pit, we mean the monsters - the shiny chest drops from a much lower item level than the monsters around it IIRC.

you ran it 10 times ? try 1000 times

the pit area is not an act boss, you should not expect the good drop frequency of an act boss

if you want a chance at a decent drop within 10 runs go back to hell meph

since hell pit is a regular area its drop frequency (and therefore quality because more drops means a better chance at something decent) is extremely dependent on # of players in game, so try to find 4+ player games
