Got a +3 Stoneraven recently, and as always got a bit of a thrill getting an elite unique to drop, and somebody is actually looking for one in the trade forum. yay! But what is this good for? I know nothing about Jabberzon's so that might be what my question really is. Is this a good itam for a Jabberzon?
well the amazonbasin is know to make amazons... one type of them is the spearie, big girl with a big spear. In make these spearies, stoneraven is obviously the low cost solution, given the resistance, speed, defense. Lycander's flank is too slow and offers no survivability.
Given the current status of fend is still being bugged, that is if you miss a target in your fend sequence, you'll miss all the rest hits. So jab is probably the only skill you can use, unless you make a passion and go berserk/zeal.

Pretty much what he said.
Also, the lack of shield hurts alot. Barbs can get away with it for obvious reasons, Paladins somewhat, but a Zon not so much. If I went Jab/Fend, I think I would use Up'd (Eth if possible) Titan's with SS or the likes.
If only it wasn't class specific, it could make a decent Merc poke stick.
I've never been able to trade one before.
Lycanders Flank is fast enough for a pokey-zon, imho. At any rate, and before we get into that discussion, Pokey-zons function by the grace of MASSIVE ar. Max penetrate is a must in order to make sure Fend hits as many times as possible, and ITD is not a bad idea at all.
Stoneraven, with a Shael, is an excellent choice for a pokey-zon because of the added defense and resistances. The magical damage is gravy, really, and the only downside are the stat reqs.
If you build a pokey-zon around a jav/shield combo, you'll have something really nasty on your hands. With max dodge and 75% block the enemy will "miss" their "hits" about 80% of the time, whilst you can keep jabbing.
