Quest mephy mfer

Is a quest mephy mfer still worth it?
I know it's suppose to be much better in 1.11 but did they change it in 1.12?

I got a sorc up and running 3 days ago. in the last 3 days and lots of time spending mfing/watching olympics. I havn't had much luck on drops. started at level 70 and leveled to 78 now sololy on mephy. (I die quite alot so it's very hard to level)

I have about 450-500mf depends if i switch between occy and gull dagger. and most game i run in is a baal game so there are 5-8 people in the game.

The total value of things I find in the last 3 days with this new sorc is probably worth a um and my old sorc find 2 shako in a hour a few days ago.

So, am i just having bad luck or did they change quest drop vs regular drop?

Only thing added in v1.12 is a no-cd patch. All other things (including drop chances and various bugs) remain unchanged AFAIK.
