Unsure which build, style to take for a 100% uber trist runner.

Ribcracker wolf, VS Kodiak bear?

Wolf skills, 20 wolf, 20 lycan, 20 feral rage, 20 fury, prereq, then rest in oak.
Bear skills, 20 lycan, 20 bear, 20 maul, 20 hunger, 7-8 shockwave, prereq..

Which would be best for a druid with minimal gear to survive Ut, and come out winning??

Neither, if you're looking for crazy budget build make a Smiter.

If you're set on making a Druid I'd say a Wolf would be an easier option mainly due to it's increased chance to hit and faster Hit Recovery frames.
