So instead of making a windy druid like I wanted to for some strange reason I listened to my bro and started a fire druid. I think I screwed up on it big time though. So far I have one point into every elemental skill, wind and fire and I actually maxed out fissure, so its 1 point in every skill and 20 in fissure. I also put one point into raven, one point in to spirit wolf and one point in to oak sage. Did I screw up or am I still ok and if thats the case where do I go from here? I am afraid I am gonna be screwed cuz of all the fire immunes running around. I want this character for PVM. I was going to follow the fire/hunter druid guide but didnt know if that was wise, any help or suggestions or is this character a lost cause?

I think you're still OK. You can still go along the Fire Hunter guide or stick with a normal (caster) Fire Druid. If you want a hunter go with the guide. Otherwise follow the instructions below.

First off, a Fire Druid is not a cookie-cutter build (unlike the Windy). There are lots of FIs in Hell and you don't have many options to handle them. Those options are: your merc, Volcano (which has physical dmg), summons (see below) and other players (persuade your brother to join).

Your main attack skills are Fissure (for groups) and Volcano (for bosses). Max those first. Next, you probably want a Grizzly, because it doesn't cost you many points. With 1 point in the skill you'll have a decent tank, and if you just max Grizzly and leave DW at 1 that will mean that your Grizz does some dmg as well. Once you have your Grizzly you should focus on the synergies for Fisssure and Volcano. Don't bother with Armageddon. It's a pretty useless skill and more points in Grizzly are more useful. Since you have already put a point each in the wind skills, you can put 1 pt in Armageddon and put it on for the visual effect.

Your gear setup will be pretty simple:
Ravenlore (with Um or Fire Facet)
Enigma / Vipermagi
HotO / Spirit / Stone Crusher
Spirit shield / Shield with Fire Facets
Magefist
Silkweave / Treks / other nice boots
Arach / rare with resists
Maras
2x Raven or RAven + Carrion Vine (to get creeper)
Stash: Elemental skillers, Torch+Anni, small charms to fill up gaps in resist / FHR / ...

Don't worry, you haven't 'screwed up.'
As a fire druid you will want to have armageddon cast, which requires 1 into every elemental skill to use.
Maxing fissure was also a good choice as it is a great damaging spell.
You will be able to kill fire immunes, as volcano deals physical dmg (and molten boulder irrc).
1 point into raven, oak, and spirit wolves was a good choice.
; )

Molten Boulder does deal physical damage, but against large mobs like Gorebellies and bosses, Volcano is still better. Remember that Fire Elementalism relies tremendously on synergies. Anyways, Armageddon is a pretty unwieldy skill, but if you're being ganged it can save your life. Since you're maxing fissure anyways, leave it on, the extra damage may help.

P.S: I used Firestorm a very large lot when I was playing my Fire Druid; the damage was quite high and it was extremely mana efficient, even compared to the rest of the tree. Of course, I got bored around the end of A5 NM, and was planning to go for a max-block shield, and switching to Fissure anyways, but it's worth knowing that the skill exists, even if you use it as a synergy.
