I am wondering which is better to use for rabies on pvp, i already have a poison facet monarch and was wondering whether a dweb or a poison facet sword would be better. Dweb +2 skills, -47 poison resist. . . .facet sword -30 resist/+30% poison dmg. Which is more effective?

Either or. Depends on if you want more -res or more damage.
Generally though, DWeb for people who don't stack beyond the -res, Facet for those who do.

Usually the dweb, most people don't stack poison res.

I'm personally using Facetted sword cus 60k Rabies damage is sexy :D.

Ok so is the facet sword better because of the extra dmg as well as the -resist? does the extra dmg make up for the extra -17 resist on dweb?

Neither is necessarily better. Once again it's either/or based on your preference.

well in that case which one is cheaper or easier to get? Though 60k dmg is pretty sexy =) Hmmm.

Mmm hard to say...
Poison facets aren't all that expensive compared to, say, fire and lightning ones. However perfects are still a pain to obtain.
I'd say that it depends on how fast you want to acquire the weapon. Making my sword took weeks. Getting a Dweb and one perf facet should take significantly less time.

Well getting the facet sword isnt really a problem my friend has one already -30/30% ft i told him to hold on to it for me for now but i was just wondering if a dweb is more effective because it seems to be more common, but thats probably because its mabye easier to get? I guess I'll go with the facet sword then. =)
i have a question about the switch with rabies. so when u do like 31k with rabies on ur normal weapon and switch to a faceted sword that does 60k rabies, do u do that 60k rabies? and why cant u just rabies with the faceted sword and switch back to normal?

You'll do the 60k
And it's too inconvenient to try to hit with a slow weapon such as a facceted sword.

Death's Web unique Unearthed Wand(IIRC)
I personally use Dweb socketed with a perfect poison facet, simply because of stacked resists. I also have an extra sword lying around though too, just in case. :D If you can get their resists down really low, then Dweb could probably do as much damage than a sword.
