Hi, I want to try something different other than your average Bliz, Meteorb, Hammerdin, Smiter builds and since I've never made a well invested druid before, I thought I'd give it a go and try something different. I read the Buriwolf guide and it seems very very interesting but the gear seems kinda super cheap. Now I'm not complaining, and I wish I read this guide before the new ladder, but now I have some wealth and the ability to acquire some decent mid-high level gear and I was wondering if this build still works well in this latest d2 version.

I've never seen a druid carry around an xbow or bow before so I'm wondering what actually happens when you fury with a ranged weapon. Do you shoot arrows or do you still just paw at your enemies? How does this build stack up against the more traditional Ribcracker fury druid? Of course if I use the items suggested in the guides, the Ribcracker build will probalby win out because the items in the buriwolf guide are super super cheap, but what if I could spend the dough to get high end gear? I like the concept of using a ranged weapon(even if you just paw) and think it'd be cool to have a druid carry around a Buriza/WWS/WF?

Anyways, I do have a WF and seeing as how even my zon struggles to kill fast in hell, I was wonderin if the WF would work better on the druid. What's the range like with a Fury Buriza or WF(if that's possible or relevant)? Anyways, this build is so cheap that I should just go ahead and try it but I'd love to hear some thoughts coming from anyone who has experience with this build. I'm mainly lookin for a fun, unique, hell viable/hell ownage, possible ubers.

You still fury, aka melee when you are using a ranged weapon, your range is very low(1) though. IMO Ribby>Ballista. Overall its a fun build, and you can always upgrade your gear as you go on so that is not a big deal.

A plus is the built in IM solution. Just un-shift and fire bolts!
