The time has come for me to build a PvP Wind Druid (my fav)

As of now I am 72 and have a BP enigma. My concern is the variable stats and setups that I need to go for.

I am obtaining max block with SS for a mele-set up.

However, I want to have an overall setup as well. I have been told that 99/99 is an optimum build, but I do realize it is possible to hit the last 165 FCR break point and still maintain what I think to be a good set up.

Helm: 3 Elemental 20 FCR 2 Sockets (Ber n Ber maybe?)
Ammulet: Druid with resi and fcr or Maras
Rings: 10 FCR and Resi/strength
Spirt: 35
Arachs 20
Whiz spike 50

That would reach 165. Is there any advantage of having that last break point? Or would I be better geared to use hoto and more plus skill gear to reach the 99/99 fcr/fhr?

Thoughts welcome!

Check out the sticky guide for some info although it's outdated from the new torch, most of the stuff still apply maybe I'll write a windy guild just to stop ppl from asking same queston all the time >_> Both have uses for different match-ups

Almond: They still wouldn't read it >.>.

OP: 99/99 for general, 163/99 for Casters, 163/154 for Trappers/Ghosts

I have read the windy guide forwards and backwards. Things like spirt and such did not exist when that guide was made. I don't think the 163 FCR break point was possible then, though I may be wrong?

At least it does not mention the benefits of 163 at all and suggests that a 99/99 is the optimum build.

Thanks for the info though. I assume to hit that high of FHR Break point along with the fcr break point for Assassin one needs FHR charms.

Dual Spirits, a 40 FHR circ, and a FHR SC are all you need.
