Hey everybody, I got some ideas to bring to the table that I beleive would streamline gameplay and add accessibility and ease of use for players. First off, I beleive a mailing system would be great. That way we can mail items back and forth between our characters and eliminate the need to mule items around. To further this idea, possibly linking the stash between our characters might be a good idea, so we can quickly access items for use on any character we play. And finally, an auction house. We would no longer need to trudge through game after game in search of someone with the item we need, which i think anyone would benefit from. If these or variations of these things were added into Diablo 3, i think it would be that much more fun of a game.

Oh yeah a great way to abuse the system and come up with crazy powerful and unique items at any character you play!

ATMA - Need I say more?

Item transfering between chars needs to be in D3.

I don't like the idea of the mailing system : the only person who can read/write in the game so far was Deckhard Cain and it was in a pretty crazy symbol language I guess. Ok. Maybe not, but I don't see a barbarian delivering a letter to a mailbox. And mailboxes are too WoWish. Blizzard told that we might be able to trade by whispers, so they'll probably help items storage / muling as well as they're probably aware it was a big issue.

Also, I don't like the item of a common stash. I don't want to see my level 3 potions and armors from my amazon when I'm on my level 72 barbarian. Plus, it's too much GuildWarsish.

Finally, this is not a MMORPG so I wish they won't add MMORPG stuff (such as an auction house). I wish there won't have currency or gold farmers/sellers. SoJs were ok. I want a system like : "MY AXE, YOUR FUR, GOOD?"

Gamekk, while many people want that particular trading system, rarity plays a big role and so "currencies" develop because its hard for two people have have the exact items the other wants with the same rarity.

I'd like to add that it's not particularly hard to work in functions in context of a game. For example, set up a courier shop where you go in and hire couriers to deliver your goods at a fee, throw a time delay in there and it wouldn't be too out of place.

shared stash can be seperated into your personal stash and an item bank, say Gheed's bank, where you pay a fee to deposit items, and allow access to the named chars.

Also I tend to look at a function in the context of enhancing gaming experience and not whether it is copying previous good ideas. personally I think have some sort of item-sharing function will enhance the game, the alternative: I dont look at having to sit in a private game for 10 minutes to temp perm the game and self mule for 20 minutes while hoping I don't get a realm down and lose half my **** as being a game enhancement. Someone might find it great, I don't.

The wheel is great, but that's like copying The Wheel, henceworth we shall use Squares!

Oh yeah a great way to abuse the system and come up with crazy powerful and unique items at any character you play!

Nothing different then what is allowed in D2. Not an abuse as D2 was designed to allow you to give low level character optimal gear you find on your other characters. If you prefer you can just play untwinked, which many others do. Or we can enforce communism, all characters must use wood club from 1-20 and then hardwood club from 21-40.

Auction house and a shared stash are very good ideas who just need to be in the game... wait damn... THAT'S LIKE WOW OMG!!!! HALP!!! So this rules out: Fireballs, Necromancers, Summoners as a whole, Sorcerers, Magic as a whole... hmmm... this is quite the predicament... what is left Blizzard can use and was never, ever seen in another game?
