Suggestion for respeccing

I think there are some requesting for a respec option, i have saw many some, like respec option for every difficulty, respec will cost gold, etc.

Long story short, I think it can be possible to include respec in Diablo 3 but respec will just be available within trees and not across trees.

Putting it in D2 perspective, a fire sorc cannot respec to a cold sorc just to combat fire immunes. What im suggesting is you can respec out of meteor and then put points into firewall instead, but not be able to put it into blizzard or lightning.

This would be awesome. I'd much rather see this than any other option, if respecs have to be included... although, I think having fairly available Tree respecs (WoW respec system for that?) and ALSO having a full respec quest reward available once per difficulty would be nice as well. Or maybe having a full respec available only ONCE in a character's whole life would be preferable. They certainly have the ability to make that possible.

If the forum software supported it, it might be worthwhile to put controls so people with fewer than 100 posts could not start threads with certain keywords in them. "respec" and "PK" and "wow-like" would certainly be amongst them. Any other nominations?

By this time next year, and esp once the beta is approaching and we know more about the game, no one will remember or care about the necromancer not being in the game.

I have vague memories of the ridiculous crap we all obsessed over pre-d2, and it was all forgotten when there was an actual game to pay attention to. That there were no spell books in d2 was a controversy, at one point. I also remember people saying they wanted the rogue instead of the amazon, and the sorcerer instead of the sorceress. Then, soon enough, conversation turned to Necromancer anticipation, and hatred for any review or play report on the game (including the ones we filed after our bliz north visit in 1999) that didn't devote most of its time to the Necromancer.

And look how silly that all seems at this point? Oh wait...

I like that almost all the word banning suggestions came from people with fewer than 100 posts. And sorry to leap on you like that, blankblank, but you had 1 post and we saw easily 50 threads on respeccing the first week or two after the game was announced. And quite a few more on color controversy, as you can see by the other ban word suggestions.
