Can weapons have ebug applied to them?

example: I find an ethereal great thresher I want to make Obedience in. Can't use Larzuk, he will give it 6sockets. So I use the horadric cube recipe in it, hoping to get 5 sockets. Does the 50% damage bonus get applied the same way the defense bonus is applied in ethereal armors?

Nope, ebugging only work with eth armors

As regarding bugged eth weapons. I believe that back in 1.07, the 50% damage bonus of eth got applied twice so eth weapons had double the bonus
