hey, some time ago i made a shocksummoner for PvM but since ive completed hell and have decent gear ive tried some pvp with it aswell :thumbsup:
as far i know its not very effective against classes that may have high defense or block (mostly paladins and barbs) and indeed hurricane druids :cloud9:
trap assassins are very annoying too.
easier classes are necromancers, sosos, amazons (dunno about shapeshifter druids yet) although they beat me probably more or less as many times i beat them.
so one of my questions would be: are shocksummoners used to be weak against the stated classes (except if u put bramble or edge on you :P) or i am doing something wrong?
all i do when duelling is teleport and teleport (have it hard to namelock aswell as namelock will disappear after first teleport). if i try shockwave anyone i get owned immediately, even though i have 4k hps and full resists lol :-9
would really need some help and guide here and how to have use of shockwave in pvp! just dont say it sucks because that would disappoint me haha, since rocks so hard in pvm!!
second question is: bear or direwolfs (when u try chase anyone with tele)? my bear and wolfs and HoW are all lvl 49 (oak is lvl 1 but since +skills its lvl 30). the bear usually kills most assassins, sosos, amazons and necs in 1-2 hits, but since i get all pets on place when i teleport perharps better have 3 wolfs? wolfs do around same dmg as 1 bear together but perharps takes more space to protect yourself?
i have followed a guide so this is my gear: (tell me if i should change something)
helm: jalals
amulet: 3summon skills + 69life
main weapon: hoto
secondary weapon: cta (i use it as melee weapon in pvm)
main shield: spirit monarch or stormshield (depending on situtation)
secondary shield: spirit monarch
chest armor: enigma
gloves: magefist (draculs for pvm)
rings: bk5 + soj
belt: arachinid mesh
boots: aldurs (goreriders for pvm)
charms: annihilus, torch, rest summoning charms and small charm lifers
if someone wonder why i want to pvp with summoner druid its because theres not many summoners who pvp (actually never seen one pvping), so it would be cool to play with a char with more unique skills
