I stopped playing around patch 1.09 (Xpack) and I just installed a few days and am now the pwner of a lvl85 HCCL sorc. People either run grab hacks, act like they are the greatest wonder on the game, want people to leave so they can drag another douche or a "loader" into the game so they leave dirty TPs to get people to S&E, kill Diablo as fast as they can without killing anything, and did I mention grab hacks?
What happened to this game? Most everyone seems like a used douche bag and from my perspective, more often seen in higher levels.
Private CS runs would be the answer, 2/8 even better if you got the cdkeys for it. If you think HCCL is full of douche bags you'd better stay clear of LoD HC, you'd be in for a rude awakening there as for what true douche bags are. Just be glad there are few to none TPPK'ers in HCCL. I think someone tried to TPPK my sorc 13-14 times during lvl 1-77 on LoD, sometimes leaving me with as little as 30 hp ;P
As for the grab hacks in pub CS it has indeed escalated out of control. Not in defense of anyone using them but it's either that or getting no loot whatsoever of any kind nowadays, basically the select few who started it have forced the masses to do it aswell.
Personally I try to play as much solo as possible, not really a fan of CS runs. As for why they rush to kill dia, it's due to the changes in the xp system, the seal bosses / minions give big chunks of xp and at very high levels it's basically only Big D himself giving a non-negligible amount of xp so obviously that would be all that is of any interest for high lvls.

grab hacks: Try joining games with a name like "Dia-walk", these people are in no hurry to grab Dia's loot.
acting: Every noob and theyr dog act, start acting yourself. It's the name of the game. It's something you have to accept because the game has many kids playing it.

This doesn't happen in Softcore, at least never has for me.
And you are inflating this a bit ;) Just that Diablo is not for everyone, it takes a LOT of patience (exspecially Classic play) and makes you almost lose your nerves on some days. :coffee:

I guess East has more douchebags because of it's bigger population, any confirmation on this? I play euro atm.
TPPK has no effect when you solo.. so do that! Same goes for the grabhacks and other **** the party does. So play solo or find 1 or 2 good friends to play with. Problem solved.
Soloed a 86 barb in euro hccl(kinda bored of it now), only problem i've had are those 3 ench monsters that seem to get me below 300 hp sometimes.

yeah i hate the cs runs running only seal bosses. Some idiots even think that it's the best exp when your below 90.. mm i'd say it would be better exp to clear all the bosses in cs before you hit 88-90 when diablo exp really starts to matter.

Cs should be cleared of boss packs and champpions till u hit 92 imo. After that the quicker the better...
I have *ruoka and *ruoka2 atm, playing classic SC & HC, mainly HC though. Just ripped 81 barb on hell travi fe+le thing while half asleep, luckily only lost bonesnap/sigons/angelic and such.
haha omg that fe+le geleb is so horrid.. he left me around 200 hp after I did ww.. well i went to stash and get some more resist gear and luckily got him down :)

You should visit the chap some more in NM, you'll grow fond of the Hell one for his capped and low damage. :)

Hehe yes I know. Ladder 1 my 4x sorc got slaughtered there. amp + fe. I had some lag there as my friend also so the guy exploded right next to me when in screen it wasn't there :(
