...
I was speaking with my mom that visited me and playing D2 at the same time. I intended to trade an amulet for my mule, pressed accept and then realized I had traded not to my mule, but to a stranger :( He didn't answer but "thanks" to my many inquiries to give the amu back to me. He stayed in the game though for a while after this and also wasn't afk because he moved his character, only pretending to be afk I guess..
*cry*
The dishonest man and his account in Bnet, Classic SC Ladder.
-= Removed char and account name because this forum should not be used as a wall of shame =-
Tell me what kind of amulet you lost and I will try to replace it.

Thanks for your kind words, though this hurt me most from inside. The amu was a +1 pala, with 1 pretty high res for one FR/LR/CR, some 20 to PR and some other stats. No need to replace this thank you! :)

speaking of lamers, there is a guy on NL, who brings 4 chars into each duel game and tries to cheat his way to the victory; usually he brings a WW barb + enchanter, plus he stays in the range of his palladin to provide him concentration aura
if he fails he uses a javazon to attack BvBs (farcast hack)

Yea I know the feeling. I will let you in on a little secret: I remade my glitcher just 2 days ago and last night I quested her as I was disturbed so I didn't get a chance to check for the quest. Bang - now I gotta start all over again :(
Doing something stupid can hurt. But realising you are stupid is much much worse

the end of my HC playing:
accidently hitting teleport skill in stead of static from behind diablo and teleporting in front of him and his pink lightning that he jsut let off....
"misery loves company" hopefully this makes u feel a little better. there ARE more stupid people out here!!!
in earlier days of d2 playing lost a lot of stuff when trying to xfer. didn't understand temp ban, didn't know how to rejoin games when diablo died and drop my xfer in game as it ended, getting xfers stolen, etc..

ps fledgling:
have a game set up with 7 players of YOURS in it and invite him to duel u in that game :D

Last ladder I started with only a few months left in the season. Never really got to a wealth tier any higher than Gull. Lost 3 Shards and a few godly good rings to various incidents. I cringe just thinking about it

I just noticed that he actually said 'thank you'
Sometimes I give free items in public games and people rarely even thank; I usually throw the garbage first and if noone thanks I leave

Ouch Man!
I'm sure if I played HC (softcore for now) I'd die to something like that, or a lag spike. :(

i'm too clumsy and careless for HC play.
it's not for me. and wasting 5 hrs isn't fun
i couldn't even imagine dying at high char lvl. i just died at norm diablo and probably in my low 20's for char level.
I never go to diablo before 30.. kinda saves you from deaths :)

especially without good fire and lit resist..in hc...foolish and lazy and impatient....hc definately isn't for me:D
i was like...well i can jsut stay away from him (since i was a sorc and his phys damage from melee attack could probably kill me, as well) and run in circles when or if he shoots his ground fire or link lightning at me and i shouldn't die......i'm experienced enough.....
actually though, he kept facing-attacking the otehr poeple and i was safely behind him about to static...except it wasn't static i did....as i mentioned.....
but its a good thing i died at ~clvl 20 'ish and only played ~5 hrs and decided not to play HC anymore after that. much better than spending like at least 1000 if not more hrs and being clvl 90+ 'ish.....and dying than....
this would give new (and more meaning) to games being "a waste of time" in your life...

wow i jsut came up with a brilliant and simple idea ! ....too bad d2 creators didn't....
solution to hardcore and dying and pride:
simply SHOULD HAVE made the game keep a record of how many times u die (or don't die) along with clvl/exp and character type and difficulty status (baron, lord, etc.) !
do same for pvp....duelers would love this record...instead of ears...which doesn't mean anything..as anyone can pick them up...claiming they killed some one...

Hey someone did this to me (just gave me a full set - I think it was Arctic gear) but they whispered me and I promptly returned the items, I was surprised when they just gave it me but I thought it was because it was a fairly low level set and they didn't need it.
They were grateful to have it back though, I think they thought they'd lost it for good :P
I personally know stupid. Was mfing just yesterday and selling stuff to Ormus. Had shard in inventory cause I don't have enough dex to wear, and then suddenly realized it now belonged to Ormus. Ormus must have just come back from the distributor since he had no more room on his shelves to hold the shard so I couldn't buy it back. :weep:
