Yes it does. On 'sins, on your boots it will tell you how much kick damage they do.

Yeah, boots are actually the item that determines kick damage. Damage on a weapon doesn't affect your kicks (except elemental damage)

This is why for kicker's pretty much you want shadow dancers or upped gores or some other myramidion greaves.... and, sadly, the assassin set isn't for you.
